Prunus virginiana, Midnight Shubert Cherry (COPF Royalty 50 cents)
  This tree has green leaves that turn purple in June. Introduction from Lakeshore Tree Farms in Saskatoon that is free from most suckers. White flowers in spring, chokecherry fruit in late summer. Height 8 meters, spread 6 meters.

  This group of shubert were taken from cuttings from a source other than our own. At that time they were said to be Midnight Shubert cherry. At a later date, we were told that due to a mix-up, the source may not be Midnight. Therefore, we are not calling these Midnight shubert cherry, but just Shubert cherry. To be clear, they may or may not be Midnight shubert cherry.

Cornus alba aurea, Prairie Fire Dogwood  Sold Out

  This dogwood has golden yellow leaves throughout the summer with typical dogwood red bark. Hardy shrub grows to 2 meters wide and high. Very good contrast shrub. White flowers in the early summer.

 Cornus alba ‘Bailhalo’, Ivory Halo Dogwood (COPF royalty 45 cents)
  A very nice compact form of silverleaf dogwood, with the same attractive cream and green coloured leaves. An excellent contrast plant. Grows to about 1.5 meter height and width, very bushy. White flowers, stems are red. Very hardy here at Nipawin.

 Cornus alba ‘Silver charm’, Silver Charm Dogwood (COPF royalty 45 cents)
  A new compact silver dogwood introduced by Boughen Nurseries Valley River Ltd in Manitoba. Very hardy, seems to be slightly more compact than Ivory Halo. Good white variegation with red coloured bark. In our opinion a very good plant.

 Cornus alba gouchaulti, Golden Variegated Dogwood
  Leaves are variegated with yellow leaf margins. Grows best in full sun, shorted and more spreading that silverleaf dogwood, grows to 1.5 meter high by 1.5 meters wide. Red coloured bark.

 Cornus alba, ‘Siberian Pearls’, Siberian Pearls Dogwood Sold Out
  A compact form of dogwood, growing to 1.5m height x 1.5m wide. Green leaves in summer, brilliant display of purple fall color. White spring flowers produce white berries in the fall. The compact form makes it a good choice for residential landscapes.

  A very hardy red dogwood native to the prairies. Locally picked seed source (zone 1b). Has very attractive red fall color, showy red twigs in the winter. Good habitat plant, white berries feed birds.

 Cotoneaster lucidus, Peking Cotoneaster (formerly called acutifolia)
  A very dense growing shrub with small shiny green leaves. Used almost exclusively for hedging. Widely used. Small black berries are eaten by birds. Good yellow, orange, or red fall color.

 Elaeagnus commutate, Wolfwillow or Silverberry Sold Out
  Large growing shrub, up to 2 meters in height, suckers aggressively. Shrub has reddish brown stems with silver leaves and berries. Tiny, yellow fragrant flowers appear early in the spring. Native in poorer soils all over western Canada. Good reclamation plant, especially where erosion is a problem.

  Very attractive semi-dwarf plant with narrow green leaves. Sprawling, upright growing habit. Bright pink unique flowers appear late in the summer and fall. Makes a good specimen plant.

  The hardiest of the forsythia species. A spectacular display of yellow flowers prior to the dark green leaves appearing in the spring.

 Physocarpus opulifolius ‘Center Glow’, Center Glow Ninebark (COPF royalty is 55 cents)
  Very similar in size and appearance to Diabolo ninebark except the red (purple) color is far brighter and new growth emerges a glowing yellow-green. Blooms in spring with creamy white flowers. This plant produces a bold array of colours all season long. Does best for colours in full sun.

  A selection of spirea with rounded, mint green foliage. Lots of  flat topped white flowers appear early in the summer. Very attractive and showy during flowering. The plant has a dense, mound shaped growing habit, growing to 60cm high x 90cm wide. Very attractive fall colors are yellow, bronze to reddish purple. Very hardy & unique plant.

  A dwarf spirea that emerges with red leaves that then turn to bronze. Red tipped foliage. Plant is topped with pink flowers throughout the summer. Looks like a minature goldflame spirea. Grows to 18” high x 2 feet wide.

Credit Terms:  Net payment is due 30 days from the date of invoice to those with established credit. Others must pay a 25% deposit when ordering and must be paid in full 30 days prior to shipping. Interest is charged at 2% a month (24% per annum) on all overdue accounts. Prices are based on present market conditions and are subject to change without notice.

 

Shipping: Boxing and baling will be charged for at cost. Plants are packed carefully with adequate packing material and moisture to withstand shipment. Open all shipments and inspect immediately the condition of the plants. Keep all roots moist all the time until the plant is planted, this is very important. Keep material away from sun and wind and in a cool and moist environment. Please inform us at the time of ordering, your preference for method of shipping. All goods travel at buyer’s risk and expense. Our responsibility ceases with delivery of stock to the transit company.

 

Claims: Claims must be made promptly on arrival of stock. Call us immediately if you have any concerns about the conditions of the plants received. A written report should be sent to us within 7 days. This can be mailed or faxed to us.

 

Guarantee: All stock is guaranteed to be true to name and we will give complete satisfaction to the extent of the original purchase price. We guarantee that the nursery stock will leave in good condition. We give no other warrantee, expressed or implied. As we have no control over the handling of the stock after it leaves the nursery, we cannot be responsible for its performance. If you have any doubt about how to handle bare root nursery stock phone us and we will inform you of the proper methods.

 

Grading: All nursery stock is graded according to CNLA standards. Nursery stock is graded in metric measurements.

 

Conditions of Sale : We accept all orders subject to crop conditions. We reserve the right to cancel a portion of the order, should injury befall our stock from hail, winds or other weather conditions, error in count, insect and disease injury, or other causes beyond our control.
